Craig Swill, CEO

Mr. Swill is the CEO of South Florida Media Group, a company that specializes in publishing community newspapers.  He also holds the title of Publisher of Our Town News, a chain of directly mailed community newspapers.  The Company's most recent acquisitions include, In The Biz magazine and Atlantic Ave magazine in Delray Beach.  South Florida Media Group now reaches over 150,000 homes and businesses. 

Prior to publishing newspapers, Mr. Swill was a Partner in the Investment Banking Firm of McFarland Dewey & Co. in NYC.  Mr. Swill advised a diverse range of clients in merger and acquisition transactions and advised clients seeking to raise capital from venture capitalists and/or strategic partners.  Mr. Swill had spent considerable amounts of time focusing on the Newspaper publishing industry, specifically, community newspaper companies such as Lee Enterprises and Brown Publishing.  Prior to McFarland Dewey, Mr. Swill was an auditor with Ernst & Young in New York.  He planned and managed financial statement audits for corporate clients across a diverse range of industries, including; financial services, manufacturing, media and entertainment, healthcare and real estate.

Mr. Swill earned an MBA from Duke University and a Bachelors of Science from New York University.  He is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He is 38 years old, married and has two young children.
